The project architects, A&DP needed to introduce maximum light and ventilation into this Victorian warehouse. This was best achieved by inserting large rooflights, in alternate structural bays, on both roof slopes. Project architect, Russell Earnshaw, commented: "To be visually acceptable the new rooflights needed to be unobtrusive, appropriate to the period and style of the original building and large enough to function satisfactorily". The Conservation Rooflights® supplied were nine Cr-15s - the largest standard size in the range.
